Terms of Service
Last updated: June 27, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Trudee service and related products (the “Service”) provided by Trudee (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Trudee provides a service that turns videos you submit into structured, professional reports, along with related tools for organizing, exporting, and sharing those reports. The Service is intended for documenting and communicating field and trades work—not for general entertainment, marketing, or unauthorized recording.
2. Eligibility and Account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You may not:
- Use the Service to record anyone without their knowledge and consent where required by law
- Use the Service for harassment, fraud, or illegal activity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or others’ accounts or data
- Resell or sublicense the Service except as permitted by your plan
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code or underlying systems
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.
4. Videos and Consent
Recording and submitting videos of people or property may be subject to consent and notice requirements in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for obtaining any required consent before recording or submitting a video and for complying with applicable laws. We do not guarantee that our features meet every local legal requirement; you should obtain legal advice as needed.
5. Your Content and Data
You retain ownership of content you upload or create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us the rights necessary to operate, store, and process your content (for example, to host your videos and the reports generated from them). Our use of your data is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
6. Payment and Plans
Paid plans are billed according to the pricing in effect at the time of sign-up or renewal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as stated in our refund policy. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
10. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by email or through the Service. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or other reasons we communicate. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may retain or delete data as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. General
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Trudee regarding the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to the contact information provided on our website or in your account.
